I thought that was a bit odd, why use John as a pseudonym on a forum and then correct people who address you by it? What would you like people to use instead?
I did not correct anyone, I was responding to post #73. I was making the point that actually a second identity is not that unusual, people have them for all kinds of reasons.
Microchipping is on its way................ .........apparently the potato crop has been terrible this year
Of course it would make complete sense but that's not the reality, the reality was that it wouldn't and didn't replace any of those docs,it was on top of those and that's the issue.
What reason would someone have for using a birth certificate which related to someone else? What reason would someone have for obtaining a second driving licence under a different name? What reason would someone have for setting up multiple National Insurance numbers? The only reasons I can think of involve crimes. If you can think of any justifiable reasons, perhaps you would share them with us. No? I thought not.
The only reason YOU can think of involve crimes. Do not assume that your contemplations consider all the non-nefarious reasons others can think off. Also just because you cannot think of a reason this minute does not mean a reason will not occur the next. When bridges are burnt there is no way back. I fancy when Pandora's box was unearthed, you were at the front going "open it, what harm can it possibly do?"
We know, Dave. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time, Dave.
Actually, I think I ought to come clean here too. "Gliddofglood" isn't on my birth certificate. Just thought I'd clear that up. I don't want to be here under false pretences.
