Plenty sit at 70 in the outside lane with the 'you're not allowed to overtake as you'll be breaking the law so I'm doing the police a service ' attitude Idiots
Often in a car it can take some " assertive " driving to rid ones self of the menace of the " pale rider " who. Is " policing " the outside lane , but on a motorbike they are no real problem .
The most dangerous car drivers are the ones who seem to move over politely to give you a bit of room and let you through. But actually they haven't noticed you at all, and have wandered over inadvertently because they are not paying attention to their driving. Then they suddenly realise they are wandering, and abruptly steer back to where they were - without looking or signalling, of course. The effect is that just as you are passing through the gap which has helpfully appeared, it rapidly closes.
T Tbh , i dont use that gap , same as those who flash to give way ,,, i would rather make my own decisions
