Vacuum hose was a good idea... Sadly it wasn't the answer - checked it, and there's no problem with it... Oh well - the search continues !
Carbs??? They hate dirty carbs and worn needles and jets . Yours is about the same age as mine and mine played up merry hell for ages main probs. Worn needles and jets. Also decided to be an M300 at one point my crank pickup broked
I think you're right Mel, it's getting to the point where the carbs are going to have to come off - let's hope we get a warm weekend some time soon...
It is only 30 - 45 min job at best to take them off. You can do cleaning in the house, just not close to open fire
