V2 V2 Headstock Lifter

1 Jac went out of business a few weeks ago thanks to the cheap Chinese copies.

 

Shame, I have the 1 Jac and it’s a quality piece of kit. Not sure how much I’d trust a cheap Chinese copy...

 

1jac were still designing fitting kits and selling stands nov/dec 2020.

 

I've used the one I had for my 848 and it seemed to work, I'll make a note of the size. Weirdly it didn't on my mates 959 trioptions bike, and was loose, so not sure why that is as you would think the lower triple is the same size.

Also, that Harris stand does look good but can you actually get the axle out with the bike on the stand? Looks like the arm comes down across the fork bottom?

I think someone bought it all out and started again.

 

Using Harris front lift stand you can’t get front axel out.

 

Is there a recommended front stand that does let you get the spindle out ? ( that fits under the stem/ yoke )

 

thats a bit of a fatal flaw for a front padock stand :-( does it foul even if you twist the bars?

 

Haven’t tried that. Can check at weekend.

 

I used the pro bike one with a little modification to the adapter to stop the stand resting on the bottom yolk as it needed to be a tiny bit longer. Can also take the spindle out by turning the bars slightly. I took mine out the other day to get the tyres changed.

 

This is my version of the DP stand they made for the 748/998 range.
