As I mentioned, I've never owned a PP. Just many Multistrada's so I can't comment on the real differences. I can tell you that very real "differences" make themselves known between the V4 engines. I found the V4 Grand Tourismo engine to be somewhat boring. With the new Olhins EVO 2.0 suspension on both the RS and PP, I'd suggest the ride is quite similar as far as agility, turn in, etc. is concerned. The RS is a bit lighter but is that enough to "notice". I can't say. If you're coming from a R1250 or GS, you'll be very happy with either. If, on the other hand , you're buying the last new motorcycle " experience " forever ( like me!) & funds are not a constraint, go for the gusto!!!! You'll fall in love with the RS when that Desmo Stradale hits 7,000 rpm , begins to scream at 13,000 rpm & the dry clutch starts to sing.
