The MV’s do look groovy. Do they still have fluffy fuelling? Last time I looked at one (2006) I was put off by this. Bought a 999R instead. Sublime bike. And spot on fuelling.
spot on fueling . Had my 800 MV new in 2014 . only done 7500 miles on it as have other bike but it's been perfect .
Maybe they finally sorted it. I heard they were shite from a closed throttle. Not really a problem on the road but a bit tiresome if you're a track day enthusiast.... They do look nice though.
Mate has an MV Dragster or something and he is the least mechanically minded person I know and hasnt even heard of bike maintenance but his bike is faultless. Saying that he has always been a jammy git. Probably for the only reliable and working MV in the country
Dragster is the best looking bike at the moment - its the only thing that'd make me part with my hyper - but seeing as ive not got 18k to throw at the new top end one thats not happening any time soon...
The F4 RC looks even better. When they get closer to 20k or under I will definitely be interested in one
I love the way the MV looks but have never seriously considered buying one due to lack of dealer support. I would love to have the MV 675 in particular for racing but the Yamaha R6 is so much more practical in this country. Ducati have the perfect mix of exclusive shinyness (tm!) , performance and manufacturer support to actually use the bikes in the way they are supposed to be used in my opinion.
