Well the R doesn't have the torque of the S so maybe the front doesn't feel as lairy compared under hard acceleration.....
Arent the wings about keeping the front down at speed? Can’t be much in acceleration pace and nothing in it top speed
Will look forward to full power soon then.Whats rev limit after first service. Will be on to Ducati Leeds later.Bimbling round at 6k on the r is doing my Swede in!!
It’s definitely 8k for the first 600 miles, the virtual rev limit warns you at 8k etc The manual is copied from the 1299!
Not updated this thread for a while! I've done just over 3600 miles now. Treat it to fresh oil at 3000 miles, clutch is toast so just putting a new clutch pack in this week. Bike is running great! Really is a different bike to the s! Was getting 7-800 miles out of a back tyre (Supercorsa v3) have tried a Rosso Corsa 2 as this is now available in a 200/60 size have done 1100 miles on it so far and it's wearing really well! Tbh it's all the tyre you need for the road even if you REALLY push it! Obviously not got the outright grip of the Supercorsa v3 but still a very good tyre. Needs a little more warming up and my personal experience when i'm really pushing it on the limit it moves around a little but it's perfect for warm weather! and so far it's wearing great as only about half worn!
no, with the full race kit it's too noisy for most tracks (108.7 without baffle kit, 108.1 with!) All road use Would love to track it! Think only option I have is for a Donington noisy day but that is week day only which is not really an option at the moment with work etc
You’ll be ok at Donington. I did Donington last week with Termignoni Uscite (no baffles) It was a 108db drive by and I had no drama. Mind you, I’m on the S. The R gives a more urgent shrill engine note. Sounds great
