V4 V4s Problems Ironed Out?

  1. My Biketrac has been fine up to now, but only a month old!

The bike has done 800 miles and 1 trackday in the first month, not missed a beat. Got Cadwell on Monday too so hopefully it will stay that way!

  2. Got my V4 Base in May 2018.

Several recall/notifications were done before my actual pick up. Several were then done at 600 mile service.
Remaining recall/notifications done at first annual service.

I have had two genuine faults in 5000 miles of road use.

    1. The air defectors under the front fairing fell off and were replaced under warranty.
    2. Just had the quick shifter changed as it went awol this week.

As I said just over 5000 miles in 18 months and I can’t be happier. Yes there have been a few recalls but TBH it has been handled very well by the dealer (Glasgow) and it has not been a huge inconvience to me.

The bike feels and runs brilliantly, so to answer the question yes I think they are mostly sorted.

  3. My biketrac unit was left disconnected from the bike during the recent build project, when then connected back on the bike, the internal battery had run flat. When then connected to the fully charged bike battery which was also connected to the lithium tender lead, it still would not take a charge from the bike's battery. Sent it back to BikeTrac who charged it up and no issues. They sent it back and I refitted it to the bike, since then no issues with it being charged by the main battery or reading the main battery voltage. Guess it doesn't like its internal battery to be completely depleted.
