Rossi fucked himself. And the so called thrown grenade did indeed roll back under his bumper. If all the whining Rosset's on here are correct regarding MM atacks on Rossi, then it just underlines his power. MM effectively decided who won the championship. He's boss.
Without that press conference in Sepang, who knows how this would have turned out. Rossi must be wishing he had kept quiet now, whether he believed something was going on in Australia or not. As has been said before, nobody had spoken about the possibility of Marquez interfering with Rossi, until Rossi brought it up. He made a powerful enemy in Marquez that day. Next season will be interesting between those two. I don't expect Rossi to be fighting for the championship as he's probably the 3rd or 4th fastest out there. But Marquez will, will Rossi give him some back? I wouldn't be surprised.
Why is everyone so surprised marquez didn't want Rossi to win? Rossi's acted a right shit bag to him this season. Nobody seems to recognise Marquez probably wants to retire with the most titles. By running interference he's knocked a year of his potential retirement date. Simple Points win prizes Jorge had more, he wins.
It is strange how the Rossets ( ) wanted everybody not to interfere in the championship and to pull over for Rossi without much of a fight (Which they did). I think only Pol attempted to overtake Rossi after being passed. The same people want Marquez to be ramming it up the inside of Lorenzo on every corner. you can't have it both ways.
Interesting that JT thought that MM wasn't protecting JLo yet NH thought he absolutely was and even ran Dani wide after coming back inside him thereby giving JLo a free ride to the flag.

its consistency is it not?3rd or 4th everytime could mean championship win. How can you say Rossi wont be fighting for championship next year, when 1 incident stopped him getting it this year!!!
Because I expect Lorenzo and Marquez to be more consistent than this year. Lorenzo threw it down the road once, Marquez 6 times. Rossi finished every race. I expect the consistency between them all to be closer next year, and with Rossi being the 3rd or 4th fastest, he won't win the championship in my opinion. He also had some very favourable weather conditions this year, will that be repeated? Dani looks to be back after the arm surgery and will take points from him.
without trying to fuel this fire that is the first time i think i've ever seen MM sit on the tail of another rider for 80 odd% of the race without attempting a pass... that aint his style.. yet when DP caught them up and made a move, MM suddenly found the pace to pass him back... quite aggressively i might add...great ride from rossi to make up 21 odd places but unfortunately despite being able to the Honda's didnt play their part...
