  1. I'm a massive Rossi fan because he rides with heart and a love of riding bikes, without rain tomorrow which there won't be it will need a mistake by Jorge for Vale to take it , I couldn't hand on heart say Jorge doesn't deserve it if he wins he has been the stronger rider for the second half of the season , true Marq hasn't helped but Rossi did kinda make it worse, now whatever happens tomorrow I'm looking forward to next year already ,

  2. i dont think that anybody will argue that without the shit Mouses intervention then the title would almost certainly be going to Valley

  6. Not you, I think.

  7. Cherub. Seems to think because marquez couldnt win title he should move aside

He shouldnt purposely disrupt but shouldnt just move aside. He is paid to race. And win.

  11. This is so looking like Lorenzo's title.
He was as good as a half second better than MM in second. That is a blistering pace on a tight twisty track. He's on pole and he'll bugger off into the distance. Whatever MM does or doesn't do, Pedders will be there or thereabouts and starting from 3rd, he will be off with Lorenzo and probably MM. If Rossi does brilliantly, he will get up to 4th, but barring offs and bike failure, I just can't see him finishing just behind Lorenzo. I think Lorenzo will win it by a country mile. MM looks all over the shop trying to match his pace.

Someone will one day have to explain to me the Kent qualifying strategy. If you are the fastest guy, why wait until you are stuck in a swarm of riders before you try to set a time? Does he need a tow that badly? Surely not, and especially at Valencia. When there is no one on the track, why doesn't he pop out of the box and set the time? He should stil become champ, but now he has to worry about being tangled up in some incident which could rob him of the title. Not clever.

  14. For me Lorenzo deserves the title and had looked like closing down any lead Rossi had way before Philip island, so it's not really too relevant whether Marquez started pissing around there or not.

Granted it'd be nice for Rossi to get a 10th, but that's just because it's a nice round number and looks better in history. If Rossi was on a 7th or 8th title I don't think I'd have any preference tbh.

It's basically been a season of two halves, Rossi being more settled and consistent out of the box gave him the best start and he's ridden awesome for a fella in his mid 30's.
Lorenzo however has frankly been untouchable for the second half and nobody with half a brain, a pair of eyes and decent hearing could surely seriously suggest otherwise.

IF Marquez has indeed purposefully impeded Rossi in the last two rounds, and part of me suspects he's has (with or without Hondas data), then the fans are the biggest losers here.

Ultimately we should've been here at today's race with two awesome riders and an equal chance of qualifying up the grid, whether Rossi would've still binned it or not without the thought of starting at the back we'll never know.

Plenty can still happen yet but I wouldn't wish bad on Lorenzo, if he makes a mistake or his tyres let him down then so be it, Rossi can only do what he can, it's a fucking mountain to climb so I wouldn't hold my breath.

  15. Watched hitting the apex last night, quite a coincidence a lot of the footage is set around the last race at Valencia ,this documentary was obviously made before the MM VR incident ,i suggest you watch it as it certainly puts thing into perspective, hope we see some great racing today.

  16. Perhaps if your head was not so far up your own arse then you might have a more measured perspective on things ,,,,,

  19. I think in Philip island Rossi has the pace to catch and pass Jorge, Marq would still have won but in sepang he would have been 4th then we'd be looking at Rossi favourite but all to play for, however that's not the way it played out and if Rossi has the luck in the early part of the season Jorge has definitely had his now , both are worthy winners, I think it's s done deal but hoping not, I don't dislike Jorge at all he is a brilliant rider but bike racing would be a dull place if they were all like him , as for Danny , we'll I've been screaming at the tele for the last few races so much that the missus and dog used to leave the room, I've never seen qualifying like it !! What has he been thinking just get on with it for f**k sake he has had the front row pace the whole year , now he has to ride defensive and try and scrape thru. Whoever has been advising him needs to be shot. Should have sent Foggy or Doohan in there, I'm nervous which is ridiculous as the championship should have been tied up 3 races ago .

  20. It was a bit monotone, but imo when all of the top racers (with the exclusion of DP)have a title on the line they make bloody aggressive hard moves and its classed as a racing incident, some of MM antics were downright dangerous, when he nearly took out the marshalls and CC under waved yellows at Silverstone he only received 2 points ?,the whole 58 era was very humbling. On a side note i was talking to Sic's dad at Silverstone the other year, did not know it was him until i recognised in the film last night, nice chap.
