Valencia Motogp # Spoiler # And Valencia 2 !

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Wassy, Nov 6, 2020.

  1. They have to do something. Having the fastest bike in a straight line is definitely not getting them to the championship.

You only need to look at the (well deserving) Suzuki’s to work out the way forward.

  2. Bhp just needs to be in the ballpark, handling, getting the power down and not destroying tyres the way forward. Oh, and (Yamaha..) reliability !

  3. And don’t get caught cheating!

  4. Suzuki have had some great work pay off and quite a slice of luck, with both Ducati having tyre issues and Yamaha just, well, ducking it up all season!

Quite incredible to think Mir has one hand on the title!

  5. If they actually cheated, rather than as reported lost a manf so had another, surely they’d be better than 10th... Ducati stretch the rules probably more than most.

  6. A bit like a Ducati club committee member not getting his form submitted because it was genuinely lost under the door mat...

irrelevent..about ducati on this occasion they are not the ones that have been caught cheating! A world of difference to everyone interpreting the rules...Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools.

  7. Understand what you’re saying when the world is looked at through your black and white lens. Often one mans competitive advantage becomes another’s cheating.

  8. In this case it is black and white, its called a set of rules and protocols that everyone knows at the beginning and everyone has to sign up to to take part. Which bit of abiding by the rules dont you understand?

What about when their YAMAHA engines blew up around jerez time? They YAMAHA applied for permission from all the manufacturers (as per the protocols... so they remembered that bit!) then when the other manufacturers, Who are also looking for a competitive edge, said, OK disclose what it is you want permission to change ( as per the protocols) ..... they YAMAHA then withdrew their application

Still you are right......its the cutting edge of motorsport backed by millions with technical experts in all fields ... they weren't looking for a competitive edge, it was a genuine mistake...especially now they have been found out:rolleyes:

    Ignorance is no defence....

  9. Enjoyed the race, Cal fell off.

  11. it was just an honest mistake.....:joy::joy:

  12. Absolute idiot.
At the time he had a live championship lead of 17 points with his two main rivals behind him.Almost come a cropper earlier in the race a couple of times so was not suprised when he bined it.
I was gutted but not suprised.
    Lunacy.

  14. McPhee needs to sort himself out as well he’s missed the start too many times this season and this was a great opportunity missed yet again. It’s ok being cool and laid back but bloody hell man have a word with yourself ffs !

  16. You'll need more aggression than Battersea dogs home in this racing format or your just toast.

  18. Looking at the WSB format we're awash with British talent for many years now,so we need to address the balance & get more riders to the forefront in motogp through personal / corporate sponsorship or other,Lets face it we have them based somewhere in the UK,they're just waiting to be plucked up and nurtured.

  19. Most of the grid have big Spanish support and buy their seat. Went many talented and super rich riders in U.K. Redding and Smith family did the move to Spain thing when they were young, Crutchlow jumped in when there was a gap. Why did Yamaha give gerloff the ‘ride’? Dorna need an American in MGP
