Ahhhhhh so this is where you all live now! Not long now..... Need to dig my bike out the shed...... In my defence I have charged the battery
No I haven't ;-) But I have switched that stupid titanium nut for a standard one so I might actually be able to get my rear tyre changed without having to search the paddock for the right socket!!!! looking forward to it
OK, this is looking like it could be a great trip, after one dropout our group booking is at 20 riders plus two brolly dollies (Liz n Debs, and we all love sisters ) <sorry ladies> .... and at least 11 of us staying through to Friday for some R&R Cars are sorted, extra nights in the hotel are sorted and I paid for the new bike today, so thats now officially mine
Yep, and being just as pants in the corners, slicks and warmers are all well and good, if you can keep them warm, hope I can, lol .....
I wouldn't worry about it mate, just enjoy the ride that's all I intend to do with 4 years off track! I'll let you drag me round
Paid in full today Dibs - you bought the JHP 999r right? I had the same switch 2 years ago 998s to 749r They are very different bikes to ride but the 749r is such a massive step forward chassis wise - a much better bike once you get past the looks You will love it - there is also something so special about all the r's
HR Mine is at JHP but not the one that everyone has seen for sale, mine was never advertised and was in fact bought on a handshake nearly 2 years ago lol, I've ridden it a fair bit at various trackdays so am already familiar, looking forward to taking it out without the worry of dropping someone elses bike lol ......
Andy - yes all paid for darling Dibs - don't leave us in suspense - which year?, photo?, bling upgrades.....
Bradders has summed it up .... In road trim its a 2004 full carbon Fila rep, a limited run bike .... currently it looks like the pic below, and as for upgrades, all the right ones
