  1. Has the pressure plate escaped unscathed?

  2. Shit! hope you're OK.

  3. And I bet the Mundane-O driver said "sorry mate, I didn't see you" ?

  4. Not had chance to give it a proper once over, still too f'ing sore! :frown:

  5. i bet she didnt say that......

  6. Bugger. That's worse than i thought it'd be :frown:. Clutch still looks nice though:smile:.
I know a bloke in Bristol who will make the tank purfik. I jumped a hump back bridge on my 748 years ago, landed in the back of metro waiting to turn right. Did a similar tank job to you. That and a gravel trap chipped to fak tank cost £300 to come back mint, and i do mean brand new mint. Spares have come down a bit and more available since but just letting you know. In fact. Could be worth contacting that member who shagged their 748 motor recently. Buy a bike between you and split it.

  7. Insurance bloke is coming on Thursday, then I'll decide the way ahead.

  11. Sorry to see that Andy and hope that your OK.

  12. Did she shove the bike along the road Nelson? Looks a lot worse than a hard thump and fall over.

    AL

  13. heartbreaking to see your baby so messed up..best of luck mate

  14. I'll wager a cat b..... Damage is extremely similar to my old Gpz when that was rear ended.

When the Yamasaki was returned to me the guy made two trips from the low loader to the garage, funny thing is he unloaded the bike one end at a time..

  15. Got shoved along the deck a bit.
Most of the damage (to me and bike) was caused when her car hit the back of the bike then shoved the exhaust cans upward along with seat sub-fame.
This then sandwiched me between car/cans/sub-frame/seat and tank, hence me being black and blue from naval to bell end! :frown:

  17. Hoping to buy back and see where I go from there.
Bikes get quickly written off these due to the salvage value....So I'm told.

  18. Bugger glad you'll be ok once you return to normal colour.
