  1. At the moment a draw isn't off the cards. With that total and only three days left, a win is highly unlikely, but defeat is in easy reach

  7. This series seems to be essentially Mitchell Johnson vs England and at the moment, Johnson is thrashing us.

    I can't see that changing unless get gets injured.

  10. Evening chaps, Lt. Colonel(retd) Farquhar McFluster here, head of admin for the MCC.

    We've just spotted an enormous booby-the new National Identity Card scheme has in fact mistakenly issued the England cricket teams travel cards, to the England women's netball team- so the Aussies are in fact playing a bunch of women...

    the Australian 'gentlemen' have not spotted this so far, the womens netball team-chunky shoes, hairy shins, tree truck thighs, muscly shoulders and moustaches-make fine figures, but rest assured we will be sending out some real men very soon.

    the Aussies have kindly agreed to start again, so it's nil nil with three to play.

    i confidently forecast 3-0 to blighty- Pip,pip!!

    now, back to the port and cheese!

  16. So far it has been a total disaster. I'm not talking about being beaten, every team loses at some point, but we just arnt competing...at all. Its like talking candy from a baby at the moment. A very quick fall from grace for our side. Only a few years ago we had the world at our feet, we were beating them all.
