  1. They were brilliant mate. Enjoyed every minute of it!
Ok, so it was one of those games when everything went right. Extremely rare, but nice if you’re watching :):upyeah:
Revel in the moment, they don’t happen often. Well played Villa!!
And who knows, they may have a cracking season- good team :)

  2. Didn’t see but good listening on radio...good effort to say the least ...proper club passionate fans...nearly got lynched off them in Northampton I was walking home from the Northampton v villa fa cup game villa won courtesy of mark Walters ...I was a young teen walking 2-3 miles home to lings estate eastern district and coach parked up with a couple of windows missing villa lads didn’t seem happy towards me despite the fact I never threw it ...oh well hope they stayed warm

This was at the old county ground shared with Northamptonshire county cricket

  4. Yeah but we have the, Royal, Claret and Blue blood version from our very own Annie HRH, Boleyn .. OK so the early ICF founding members did lob her head off at half time which made a bit of a mess of the centre circle tbf before aving it away on their toes and stashing Her Rather Grizzly Royal Barnet under the bar at the local boozer, which now has the Royal crest above its door, for being a purveyor of fine local entertainment and refreshment, the entertainment Side of things is normally provided by a bunch of them Bermondsey boys who call by occasionally ... X

You know us Cockney boys.. We can sell ice to them Emile’s, in an hour? No, in a mo!

Thats.. Emile’s as in Emile Heskey in a mo! = ( Heskey mo) = Eskimo..

  5. Have to say I’m pleasantly surprised by the support of the Villa. Perhaps it’s not one of those hated clubs? Or is it just because we dicked Liverpool?
Shame it took the heat of Man U tho!

Im not getting carried away tho, Leicester is next up, I’m sure we’ll finish bottom half of the table.

glad the Baggies came up, at least we’ll have a Derby game

Just a shame no fans were there, would've been an excellent rendition of Sweet Caroline!

  10. Holte end would’ve been rocking

I took my eldest son to watch Villa Leeds a couple of years ago, in the Holte End, he learnt some new words that night!!!

  12. Maybe B’ham City can manage to rise to the upper league for a real derby match. :)

  13. mmm, mixed results against the Blues when they were in the Prem. Dodgy goalkeeping in Villas part didn’t help

  14. Bet you’re looking forwards to Newcastle United 3 points they’ll gift you as they do at every opportunity ;)

  15. That would be good.

  16. Local derby today and the Baggies need those points, a draw will do. Big Sam in charge

  17. Even with Big Sam in charge it’s a mammoth task for us to survive. Looking forward to the match tonight. A win over the V...a (can’t say the name :p) will be a great Xmas present.
    Come on Albion

  18. I don’t think even Big Sam can save the Baggies unless he’s given at least some experienced players, whether he can attract any in January or loan some.

WBA problem is they’re not strong enough in the PL now they’re up, maybe the club prefer the trophy room with at least the Championship trophies more than no trophies at all.

I’m hoping Wolves get relegated this or next season...

  19. Well at least WBA aren’t Arsenal :)
