Green frame 750SS I was looking through my old pics and found this, taken at the Isle of Man TT in 1975. Did it belong to anyone on here? Sorry the quality is very bad.
My "Pantah" as it gently evolved from a Yellow 650 in a Pantah Frame [no pics sadly] to the Alloy/Black one which was 748cc and finally the red/yellow one was 877.5cc.
Spotted this Ducati Sport 48 in the dining room of the Hotel San Marcos in Santillana del Mar, Northern Spain
A little 1965 160 Monza Junior I have acquired. I swore I would never again get a bike with 6 volt electrics and drum brakes. But I was tempted ...
An interesting bike. Pre-production paint scheme but wire wheels. I think it would look better with the side panels though.
Thanks Derek, Yes its one of the 1st Black/Gold models... The original wheels (tend to crack) and side panels are in my garage... I pulled it out to take the shot.....
Yes, I had the first pre-production black & gold bike that had been sent to Coburn & Hughes for assessment. The rear wheel cracked and I replaced them with FPS but the wire wheels look so good. My bike was reg. no YRO 450S. I wonder where it is now? Frame no 087898 Engine No. 088191 Do these ring a bell with anyone?
Yes I believe it was C&H who spect the colour scheme for the 1st ones into the country... Your bike,,, have you looked on DVLA to see what its state is?
There was a dealer ad with an immaculate pre-production model on ebay about a year ago asking £30K. I don't know if it went for that though but a good one should certainly reach £20K.
Ha, ha! I don't think I have the spare cash just now and certainly haven't got the room for a fifth Ducati.
Sell 2 or 3 to finance the Bevel..... simples no excuses... Out of interest what are they? (the 5 Ducs)
