  17. sweet.. theres a few place names i aint heard in a while... i remember catching john dory offa the wharf at mangonui many years back... me , my bro and 3 mates did a 3 week van trip to the far north living offa what we caught to eat each day (and shit loads of beer) we never went hungry..

  20. I have fished there a lot, kayak fishing is fun esp when catching feisty fish like kahawai, but my best was a 24lb Snapper off the rocks. I have fished off that wharf too but never caught anything....
