Watches

  1. Ha ha, it's a fair point. Unfortunately your hard on is for one of the most solid watches there is. Subs (in stainless) and Sea-Dweller's are always going to do strong dough. Unless of course this CV-19 thing drags on for much longer than expected.
But you never know- if you're in the right place at the right time, you might drop on. I've bought two stainless Daytona's in the past at list price. Just got lucky. Then sold em for a song relatively speaking. Cos I'm a twat :p

  2. Where would you usually poach? There's some great eals on ebay but that a proper risk.
Rolex buy and sell page on Facebook seems to have alot of activity.

  3. My first Daytona came by way of my local AD calling me after having being on a waiting list for yonks.... The second time I was just breezing through Schipol Airport and spotted one in a dealers. So I bought it, simple as that. I didn't keep either too long as I don't really like them that much- no date and a bit tarty looking.
But tbh, I've seen eff all for a couple of years now. No steel sports at all. If you have the dough keep your powder dry. There might be some deals going in the next few months because nowts shifting. Keep yer eyes peeled .... Good luck :):upyeah:

Oh, and careful on ebay. Fukken hate ebay.....

  10. They do look lovely and I was looking to buy one last month for my son's 21st. But it felt very light and it put me off a bit.... I prefer a bit of a chunky bastard. So I got him one of these instead.

  11. Fuck sake mate, don't buy from the US..... Not unless you wear it home. You'll get a right old arse raping on import duty if you do mail order. There are some good deals to be had in the states but only if you buy it there yourself.

  12. I personally wouldnt dare, it was the top one I was mainly on about. And the 18 that went for 6 was in the UK at some auction.

  13. Oh ok. Hang on if you can. It'll be a buyers market pretty soon I'd say. Sales are dead.... Nowt's shifting- cars, bikes, watches..... big fuck off yacht's.... with fit birds laid on em. Like in Formula 1. In Monaco.....

  14. I’m desperately trying to keep hands away from the credit card. I was very taken with Speedmaster, Apollo 8, Dark side of the Moon but it’s the wrong movement for me but then I saw this,

and I’m really taken with it. Andy
