When I was working at omega at Christmas on Oxford street or regent street can’t remember which but the lass who was doing the internal decs at the same time we were outside told one of our lads the most expensive watch they do is 150k, one of the shops had a customer coming in the next day to collect a 120k watch. Not sure if that was December 2019 or 2018 I was there both years I forget
Can I ask, how many of you actually wear the watches? I only ask because where I have spent considerably more on a watch, it has meant I tend to want to wear it day in day out and that almost always has seen some mark left with an impact here or a graze there on the watch
I got an old tag in my drawer and I wish I did wear it more it’s lovely little watch only cost me £250 max but I keep forgetting to get it out but like you say I guess I don’t want to knack it too
I'm not allowed to wear a steel strap watch at work so I use a G-Shock. When I'm home I wear my Seadweller pretty much all the time. I do clonk it here and there but it's pretty tough and still looks great after 25 odd years. You really can't beat a steel Rolex. Iconic looks, practical and superb residuals. And my Seadweller is spookily accurate!
Keep mine in a 4 bay watch winder in my office so they’re always wound and ready to go , I tend to wear them on a “mood” basis but if not worn one for a while I’ll wear that one.....I’m lucky as I like em all for different reasons
I don’t feel properly dressed until I put my Omega on after my morning ablutions. What was originally intended for special occasions is now part of my everyday routine. Andy
I wore it every day from buying it on the Höheweg Interlaken, on impulse. This ended when ten years later I went to live in Honduras, where solid gold watches are far too dangeous to wear. I followed this with sailing around the world for a few years and the watch really wasn't suitable. The Omega had become a sometimes or special occasions watch until today! I should get a new strap maybe...
I see to wear my TAG all the time and it shows really, I was thinking of getting rid of it but I don’t think it will be an option really. I may just have to start wearing it again.
Stocks not moving, now seeing £1.5/2k discounts on SS Rolex sports. Going to see how much further they plummet and could be some opportunities
Where? Must be the newer / common stuff as older references don’t seem to be getting any less out of reach.

Luckily I already have my Omega watch. I only "needed" to buy a new strap... Better get back to work soon !
