Kriega r15,r20,r25 are not waterproof, shower proof possibly but not waterproof. Kriega r30 is a different design and waterproof with the same inner dry bag lining as the tail packs (all of which are also waterproof). So....there you go
I wonder who this one is made by? Triumph have previously jumped into bed with Kriega. They are obviously very promiscuous & clearly have a fetish for rucksacks.
If you already have a backpack, have a look at; https://www.mountainwarehouse.com/t...ies/bag-liners/drybags-5-10l-p12166.aspx/red/ they're cheap and 100% waterproof.
OR get any showerproof backpack and buy a dry bag liner, a la - http://www.sportsdirect.com/karrimor-dry-bag-784313 Other retailers are available and likely recommended, i simply couldn't be bothered to google past this link
I use this climbing backpack. Really comfy, really waterproof. https://m.simplyhike.co.uk/products/MountainHardwear/ScramblerRT35OutdryRucksack.aspx
Kreiga. Dont mess with anything else. We've all tried and junked loads of other ruckies, but Kreiga does what it says on the proverbial tin. Expensive, but you buy once.
