Its about 140 miles mate - call it 160 for cash if we meander around a bit. I might (probably will) go all the way to Brecon with you then drop down the heads of the valley through Pontypridd to Bridgend. Cant beat a ride out with mates - this is getting exciting My only problem (other than the bloody weather, its Wales) is Friday night is likely to be messy as its an old school mate and his missus who is godmother to number 3. Just as well its a 10:00 start from brecon Saturday
Remember it will be dark. Unfamiliar roads that is the start of spring. I’d take the mint]mouth road as described by Cookster as it’s large A road/dual carraigeway at the other end then
if we leave aylesbury at 1.00 or near to it surely we would be there for 6ish? shouldn't be too dark then surely.. I more worried about traffic given we are leaving it late tbh..
I was assuming a smoke break for chiz and a piss break for you other old fellas every half hour which means 20 min stop
Phew! That took some catching up. Glad to see there’s a ride in going on. For my part Im taking the N71 to Cork, then the N25 to Rosslare then the ferry to Pembroke then the A447 to St Clears then the A40 to Brecon. Anyone want to join me? I start my journey next Tuesday @Toodumbtosmile noted and Ill put you on the room allocation sheet. Throw a sickie, the world can wait a few days to be saved
