To be fair, any bike or car is only worth what someone else is prepared to pay for it! You can hang out for what you want for something on ebay, autotrader etc for as long as you like, have done the same myself but have ended up dropping the price just to get people interested! The number of 916/996's, I saw advertised for silly prices, when I was looking for mine, then re-advertised again.. I ended up getting a bargain when the guy just had to get rid and dropped the price by a grand!
