I must say that is not the worse. I get adds display on top over the entire forum so I have to scroll down sometimes 2 pages just to see start of forum. I hate new layout, well mostly hate it as there is one or two good things.
No ie 11 or chrome on Android. On Android I have system wide add blocker so no idea if it all good or not....
When I am on pc and it has big enough add will do. Last one I remember was of British airways showing me flights to Lisbon......... Loads of them
Bear with me........I only recently climbed out of the primordial soup. So, I'm on the Forums page (not logged in) and I'm looking at The Machines, and for e.g.click the Desmo D16 section. The top thread is Insurance and on the right if you hover over "Thursday 11.31am " and try and access the last post it doesn't allow it anymore. It did before. Does that make sense?
Somewhat annoying as it displays less info on 1080p tablet screen then 720p TV. I will get used to that I guess
Makes perfect sense. I guess the reason behind this is, why would you want to look at the last post? It assumes you are a 'guest' and would want to start reading the thread from the beginning as you have never read any content before it. Kind of like picking up a book and going straight to the last page .
Well it assumes wrongly! I often read a load of posts and come back the next day and want to go straight to the last post asap without logging in. I think maybe someone else could explain it better. There's defo a problem and I give up! - It's the age you know, - now where me Wurthers gone.......
Re: Adverts. Just to say that they are not always a good idea on forums. They are clicked on by a smaller group of people than adverts shown on a web page. This can lead to providers wrongly thinking fraud is occurring & thus they pull the plug on you. Just something to bear in mind Eagerly await the Tapatalk installation as many of us use this via the iPhone & Android handsets from car parks & cafés, organising Rideouts 'on the fly' as it were. We need fast access, functionality & convenience. Parts of this forum were starting to take off because of the interactivity afforded by Phone access. Getting that back has got to be a priority hasn't it? Thanks for your efforts all round T
Sorry.... i am really not liking this new format at all. There's no definition between fields, no asterix for posting new thread ( the thread icon, like question mark , light bulb etc ). Can we go back to the future and revert to the previosu format?

Dunno if its just me (cant be arsed to go through 10 pages of hello new forum) but have folks locations gone from their avatar info? Am on ipad so it may be different on a proper 'puter, but even when you expand their info its not there either. Gonna be lots of "soo where the feck are ye mate?"
I'm not convinced it's an improvement the old one just seems a bit more intuitive to use. Luckily I mainly use tapatalk
