Can we not have Pete1950' s font larger , it wont be the same if he's reduced to posting commoner size .
Rob, I'm now getting adverts in the body and to the side of people's posts pushing the text written/posted down the page rather than across it. Edit: - see attached pic..........but sods law it didn't push the text down when I went back it's just got the ad in the post.
I am getting a vertical ad in the 1st new post viewed on each page making the post very long, plus where can I change the number of posts per page?, at present it's 20, I'd prefer at least 30, 50 would be best. Thanks for your efforts @Rob. Plus peoples/members location is no longer displayed by/under their avatar either. Also when I select a thread with photo's in it to read it doesn't go to the newest post but to the middle of earlier ones.
Haven't ben active for a few days so what a shock when I landed on the new home page, thought there was something wrong with my pc. Looks like I am a new member again as well. It is nice and clear though, once you get used to it.
AHA! - found the fucker at last. Thought you'd gone the way of the Ducatisti site. (The now old, old site). I used to be a high-ranking senior looking down on all the plebs but I'm not even well known now. .....gonna have to dig out my flat cap. I know my place.......
Why is that then?.........With Firefox, the forum sections have each heading underneath in a sort of grid; whereas in Internet Explorer, they are as a list as the old set-up was. In either browser, there is no indication on each heading as to who the last poster was and when the post was made, like the old forum did. This means that you have to actually have to go into each section, just to see if anyone has updated the thread.
I preferred the list view rather than gallery view, for the same reason as above. I`m getting the same as Al mentioned, like this:
I feel completely lost . Was just finding my way round the old site and this happens!!! First BT shut down my old talk21 e-mail address unless I pay and now this, it's just too much.
+1 , New Posts , that's similar to the old quick links ,todays posts used to be. But is it just me or is the bias on Technical , type of threads as opposed to lounge lizard stuff.
I'm close to jacking it in , pulling out , ( good chance for an amended there ) but I'm going to see how it goes after the first MCN Fantasy race , There might be some banter piss taking to be had with the Laaads there.
@Rob, the 'latest post' button next to the thread title is too small. Like a few here, I use the website on my iPad and it was difficult enough finding that damn button on the old site. This new one is maybe too small.
