Thanks for the tip, incredible footage in parts, they must have used a lot of CGI trickery but still very convincing.
a similar image, the only kind of image came to mind when I considered watching this. what a woman, Bless your heart Jacqueline Pearce, RIP.
Although massively far fetched (search ALL of the internet for an image and find it in minutes?!)….I fear it’s going to have the super-shit ending from it’s writers as they did for line of duty!
Captain Phillips on ITV4 tonight at 9pm, Tom Hanks as the captain of a ship attacked by pirates off Somalia, directed by Paul Greengrass so rattles along nicely (Don't think it's the same Greengrass that was on Heartbeat though..) Might be worth recording so you can skip through all the bloody ad breaks though....
Something gets stolen. Greengrass gets the blame. Ultimate culprit found and Greengrass makes something from it. Every single heartbeat plot from day one
Just caught up on i-player. TBH, even with a monster pulling out all the reactor rods, some crawling through huge air conditioning ducts on a submarine, and sparks out of the computers flashing light matrix, “Voyage to the bottom of the sea” was both more convincing and realistic.
The original Das Boot was brilliant, but they didn’t have real mermaids Or Capt Crane and Admiral Nelson checking the DF for the latest post on the “Today on eBay thread” I rest my (rose tinted spectacle) case
