And the final one last night was brilliant. Very funny. Very moving. Full of hope for the future. Unfortunately that hope is presently on a knife edge.
It is. EU and their bully boy tactics have a lot to answer for. The small blonde one who does Bridgerton is mid 30’s iirc and still passes as a late teens girl!
They’re all much older than the teens they portray. Saoirse-Monica Jackson (Erin) - 28 yo Louisa Clare Harland (Orla) - 28yo Nicola Mary Coughlan (Clare) - 35yo Jamie-Lee O'Donnell (Michelle) - 30yo Dylan John Llewellyn (James) - 29yo
Liam Gallagher, 48hrs at Rockfield, if YOU don't like the F word then feck off over to the other channel and watch ABBA.
Jools did well to steer that interview with the bloke, huge respect for him, Jools I mean, just to be clear. Finale track slightly better than earlier one for me but nmcot overall.
Saw Vendetta the other night. One of Bruce Willis’ last films. Quite sad to see how his health has deteriorated, as it was clear to see that he’s not what he used to be.
One spectrum to the other with those two individuals, with both having their heads up their own arses.
Essex Serpent - touch of the Wicker man about it. Has that woman from Homeland in it See - bit of a tired dystopian/post apocalyptical trope, with at twist. First episode was ok, suspect it will get sh*t fast.
We’ll have to agree to disagree when it comes to Jools, I can’t understand how anyone could form that opinion of him, maybe when he was younger a little bit around the time of the tube but certainly not now.
Here We Go, BBC with decent cast. Mocumentary type comedy, worth a watch. No canned laughter: the way I like it!
Babylon Berlin. Set in the 1920’s. All in German with subtitles so some may not like that but it only adds to the atmosphere for me. Theme music is great.
For the amount of hype it’s had, if it’s anything less than the best film ever made, I’ll be disappointed.
