What Are You Watching......?

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by XH558, Nov 2, 2018.

  1. It has mixed ratings, a love/hate split.

  2. The lady ref having an absolute mere in the snooker. She is getting loads of decisions challenged and seems undecided and easily swayed from her decisions.

  3. Hunters 2 on prime. Totally lost in the story already one episode in!

  4. Stick with it, it's well worth it.

  5. 2 episodes and already with it, I missed a couple of the year flashback tags and was think wtf he’s dead?!

  6. Started on The Last of Us earlier on the week.
Action packed from the get go and very thrilling……for the moment.

  7. Snap. Love the game, in my top 5 of all time, so hoping this lives up to it. One in and so far so good…although not bought into the girl yet….

  8. I heard it’s a game, but not being a game player I’ve no comparison

  9. The chat show at the beginning was hilarious… almost like watching the ‘experts’ in early 2020 and since ;)

  10. Still with Get Shorty the series
    Really enjoying it
Along with the other characters Chris O’Dowd plays the good/bad guy convincing well
Worth a watch if you haven’t already.

  11. Bit like Martin freeman, the transformation of O’Dowd is incredible really from early career. They’ve turned a geeky, odd looking bloke into a tough guy who women flock to.

Hollywood. Where fiction becomes fact ;)

  12. Absolutely, Martin Freemans roll playing
    The Responder was fabulous.

  13. Just like a book realisation sometimes it’s better to just watch without any advance ‘knowledge’. I’ve watched the first episode and it has me, my lad has played the game and also rates the series so far.

I don’t tend to watch films after reading the book as they’re never as you imaged the book, on exception was LotR for me.

  14. An exception for me would be novel 1984 and the subsequent film starring John Hurt.
    Both excellent and moving

  15. New series of Vera :)

  16. Lintvinenko on ITVX, despite being aware of the event this series details the events as they happened and is very interesting.

  17. I'm watching the original Italian Job at the minute, i've just googled the number plates for the Aston Martin and the Jaguar, surprisingly that they come up listed with the DVLA.

  18. Man U chuck away two games on the bounce in the last minute.

  19. Leave no trace. Cracking wee film, if liked Cpt Fantastic, this'll be right up yr street.

  20. Arsenal were tough though and each goal was superbly executed.
