Finally got around to watching Snowden. There's an interesting backstory how Oliver Stone couldn't get funding from the usually sources for this project. 'People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.'
Saw the original MASH film (1969) & Serpico (1973) at the weekend - part of the yearly mini film-fest here. Both restored to 4K standard. Didn't know that Serpico was based on a true life story.
I managed a boxed set! called "The Marnow Murders" on Ch 4 with lots of unintended humour in it and bumbling detectives but it served as a good distraction for a bit.
The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. A very British, hanging on in quiet desperation type film. Worth a watch...
Love these types ee of dive shows but would never want to do it myself. This has the added bonus of “alien” footage too, on sky history
Just finished watching the England girls win the quarter final of the World Cup.They did well and it was an exciting game to watch.
