  7. Catch me a Killer
Based on the book of the same name, it tells the harrowing story of former journalist-turned-psychologist MICKI PISTORIUS - South Africa's first serial killer profiler.
Deep misogynistic stuff of the 70’s/80’s, although it’s hard to tell going off the fashion and cars used.

  8. It is, she is, she has :)

  9. Very good, the only disappointment was that the identity of the writer was not exactly a surprise, but the two main parts were both brilliantly played.

  14. A classic. Hitmen, fight fixing, ‘cleaners’….got it all. Only the guy who is supposed to get whacked gets away. Brilliant.

  18. For anyone that tried and liked these, I've found 2 more; The Wrecking Crew, and Muscle Shoals.

The Wrecking Crew were the studio backing band who backed, according to the poster, The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Nat "King" Cole, Simon & Garfunkel, The Righteous Brothers, Phil Spector, The Byrds, The Mamas & The Papas, Dean Martin, Sonny & Cher & The Monkees amongst others. I won't spoil the reason for the name in case anyone doesn't know as it's probably in the story.

Muscle Shoals is about the studio band of FAME Studios, The Swampers, who are name checked in Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama". Again, they've backed more great names than you can shake a stick at, and there's an interesting story about Aretha Franklin going down there to record. Sharlene Spiteri of Texas has been there to re-record some of Texas' songs fairly recently (spoiler alert; the Aretha Franklin story is in the linked article) and that CD has been pre-ordered.

The Wrecking Crew I can only find on DVD, Muscle Shoals is available on DVD or Amazon Prime.
