The sean connery ones are still great to watch on the odd occasion,Gold finger/Dr No/From Russia With Love etc.IMO
Just started on Catch 22, starring that old doe eyed smoothie George Clooney. They took Man in the High Castle too far but I’d like to see more of the American Classics serialised.
Good Omens was pretty good. Not as good as book, but enjoyable. Michael Sheen playing it as Rik Mayall was interesting.
I’m finding it hard going. See it on the planner and just think depressing so keep moving to something more cheery. May save them until winter.
Completely and utterly bored with the offerings on the box last night,so tuned into glastonbury with The Cure playing some good tracks at the end of their two hour slot.now of to boots & chemist for that Robert Smith look.
Inside the bank of england,,,Run like a military exercise behind closed doors, foot soldiers gathering economic intelligence and the chosen ones making the final decisions just so we can sleep at night. Rating 9/10
Can anyone help me identify this 2016 to 2019 film. I see a recent clip either click bait or you tube. War film, probably set in WW2, don't think it was English language. Scene was some soldiers on a hill watching Russian or German tank platoon winding through a snow covered forest, one soldier makes a run down a gully and tries to take out the tank by throwing a charge under it....... Looked like a good film..... I cannot find it again. May be Finnish or Norwegian. .... Anyone know it?
Watching Michael Portillo jumping about all over Europe on choo choo trains, clutching his Bradshaws. Strangely watchable.
