  1. 'Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat'
2.5hr marathon at the cinema. Thought provoking account of the goings on around the Congolese leader Patrice Lumumba in 1960/61. The CIA involvement, mineral resources, Malcolm X, etc. Set against contemporary music of Louis Armstrong and others...

  3. Gladiator II this evening. We enjoyed it and didn’t notice the time, but like David Moyes at Old Trafford or King Charles III, it pales in comparison to its predecessor.

  4. Went and saw Conclave tonight. Mrs GG’s choice but she chose well again, enjoyed it far more than I expected to; excellent cast and a few good twists.

After her monastery expels her, Sister Simone and her ex-boyfriend set out to crush the AI programme, Mrs Davis. However, she is faced with her past as the power of her faith is tested in the battle.
With a bit of Scrambler action thrown in for good measure

  8. Mrs Harris goes to Paris

Nice, gentle kind of romantic comedy of sorts. Perfect for easy viewing with nice messages and good ending.
