Civil War on Prime It was alright, but nothing more. Sort of Walking Dead but without the zombies, best thing about it was probably the film score, the sort of thing you could imagine happening in the US with its current administration?
We watched that this week. The last episode was shite, and as for that Sheridan whatsherface, i cannot stand her fucking annoying pouty face, and shit acting.
The 'hammy' acting, the obvious low budget and the numerous implausible scenarios had us groaning frequently. So bad it was compelling in a weird way.
North Shore. Predictable attractive female cop with anger issues blaming the world for everything and much smarter, softer and more considerate ugly bloke cop doing all the work and gabbing a doormat. Worth a watch.
Pretty much two dimensional acting across the board saved only by the Mancunian actor John Bradley he of Game of Thrones and known for his occasional comic relief. There are worse ways to kill time.
Cowboy BeeBop. interesting with v,classy camera work. American Primeval. excellent. brutal. Royal bastards. rise of the tudors. superb storytelling/documentary. Vikings and particularly the lost kingdom. both excellent stuff. watched them both several times.
Lost kingdom or last kingdom. If last kingdom then I've just finished it fir the 4th time. It's brilliant. Lost interest in vikings around season 4
yip, last kingdom. fug it, think i will watch it gain. Bamburgh castle is worth a visit btw. Vikings did go a lil lame around about season four but did come back with a bang.
The Brutalist. “And the Academy Award for being so far up your own fundament that you can see out of your oral cavity goes to…”
The Great Pottery Throw Down Back for another airing the bunch of amateur potters take their chances with the eclectic collection of task masters/judges Rose who was mid transition last season has now become a fully fledged black woman and Keith verging on an emotional breakdown openly bursts into tears at any given moment. This stuff should really come with a warning sign.
Out There with Martin Clunes as a Welsh farmer. S1 quite good. Reminded me of another populer serial but can't divulge as would be a plot spoiler.
Silent Witness. Still enjoying it after all these years, have particularly enjoyed the two new characters, Harriet & Kit.
