  4. This fishing life Cornwall, based in Mavagissey and worth a summer visit folks:upyeah:With local fisherman struggling to make a living with difficult low fish stocks and plenty of competition too boot,Outsiders coming in & buying second / third homes, buy to lets etc, tourism is also the lifeblood survival but also the towns black plague in winter months.
Perhaps Boris can fix it in time.;)

  6. What channel was that on please XH?

We used to go there when we were kids for our summer holidays. Also, it sounds a lot like here from your description.

  7. I think it was BBC2,but for me there are so many great places to visit down there as i did three years on the bounce with some friends many moons ago in the late nineties and got to see many fab places including the moon eclipse over the Portreath bay in 1999,with Polporro as a personal favourite of mine, the Barbara Hepworth museum in St Ives is worth a view, the lost gardens of Heligan if you like gardens, and the mountainsided Clovelly another etc, etc.

  12. The White House drama, that's one way of getting the family inheritance speeded up.

  13. 100%. 4 hrs of good tv climaxed by 30 min of shite tv!! Would have been better to just have Dracula win for once. That would have been a twist!

  14. Just finished the last season of The Deuce. Long but good.

  15. The Red arrows "Take America" T.V series,a British PR transatlantic stunt or a lads jolly but nevertheless most enjoyable, their only real problem was not their fancy pants displays but planning a aeronautical chart for 4 star fuel pit stops.also Belmarsh Prison.....this place keeps you on the straight and narrow path in life as who would want to end up there.....Zyklon B would be a much better way of running this tax payers money pit.

  16. The Grimsby Brothers. Remove brain, engage childish humour chip, and it’s very funny. What happens when Borat plays James Bond

  17. Watched another episode of Carnival Row. Can only watch a maximum of one episode a day, as too much Cara Delevingne makes my eyes water. Meh.

Watched half an episode of Glow. It's kind of fun but have to be in the mood and I was not.

So I am listening to music again. Currently playing The Harvest Bag, a compilation "budget sampler" from 1971. I love those old label "samplers" from the late 60's/early 70's.

  18. Jett on Sky One. Starring Carla Gugino :)

  19. ... mmm ... Carla Gugino ... mmm ...
