  4. Branston beans are my fav now. Regarding meat no lamb for me. Other then that I will eat any meat just as long as I do it before it does me.

However best meat is Wilde bore that you hunt yourself. Adrenaline rush followed by good old open fire roasted boar.

  5. Eat most things, like this poor old fella BBC News - Oregon farmer eaten by his pigs

    Makes me hurl .
I remember being force fed sausages as a child and vomiting all over the dinner table, last time any one tried !
Except for the poxy mystery meat veggie noodles at Copdock bike show this weekend .

  9. Fully agree. Meat is meat. We are at top of food chain so eat all below. From time to time we make mistake and get eaten ;)

  10. Think if you saw what went into your average sausage ,,,

  11. Been in any darkend hotel rooms by mistake lately have you Luckaz

  12. My mum is Norwegian and you can still buy whale meat over there, it comes frozen, in a block about the size of a house brick and tastes like well hung beef with a short grain and no fat. Nom nom nom :)

  13. You're still not selling it well I'm afraid

  14. Good, all the more for me when I go home :)

  15. You can have my "seconds" too

  16. El T, until you try it you won't know. I have only had whale twice when I've been in Norway, I was very sceptical at first but it really is delicious.

  17. Whales are far too cool to be eaten however good the meat may taste.

Can't think why it's being eaten anyway, surely there is a moratorium on whale hunting which the Japanese flout by pretending that they need to kill a whole heap of them "for scientific purposes". The experiment is, I suspect, how much whale you can eat before you're sick.

Saw an interesting programme which showed that whale has become highly toxic, with all sorts of things like mercury in it and, in Japan particularly, it was principally being used for school dinners. So not only unethical, but also very unhealthy.

  18. Is it cooked or eaten raw? That would have a bearing on whether I tried it.

i went to my wife's nephew's wedding in Norway a couple of years ago. It was probably the best wedding I've ever been to. The wedding itself was on a boat in Oslo fjord with the reception held in an art gallery in Drøbak. Food was fantastic including the reindeer:upyeah:

  19. Isn't that also supposed to be true of a lot of seafood now? Including tuna?
