£101 on an evotech radiator guard set for the 1199. Probably cost less than a tenner to produce. Still, better than the R&G alternative. Or a punctured radiator for that matter.
New battery. Rectifier / regulator. Ignitors ( times two). Clutch plate. Clutch cover. Clutch slave cylinder. Brake discs. Brake disc bolts. Oh, and a multimeter!! Time to get the spanners out soon, hopefully this morning. Soon the sleepy village will be woken by an Italian V twin with Termi's...
I picked up my proper SP ally subframe for £125 some time ago. From a nice chap at J10 M25/M3. Getting it home strapped to my back on my 916. Wonder if the gent is on here.
You did well for that price. Did you have to relocate the ecu? Just fitted mine + the bargain cf heat-shield I've had tucked away... Also just wieged the old steel lump...3.2kg! New one is <1kg. No doubt this will transform my Miss Daisy riding style... NB. No gents on here mate!
Yes I did @Nelson Fortunately I had just enough slack in the cable to do so after i loosened all the rubber bands. Plus I had to rotate the ecu. Is like the pic below.
It was cheap because it was quite a few years ago before prices exploded. Ive seen these for stupid money. Really stupid money. Took me bloody ages to fit too.
Yup - second hand prices for these are daft. I got this one new from Italy, Perfect fit...And hopefully wont crack like the original item!
