New lid. Thought the old one would bed in, but just not comfy for more than 10 mins. Brother got an HJC, so I tried it on for a good while when visiting, and yes, it is comfy, and has all the same safety marks as pretty much all the lids that are much dearer. now to order some decent weather and spare time...
Secondhand spare rear wheel off eBay - so that I can fit an aggressive knobbly for the winter (I'm talking about my TTR250 by the way!)
Just bought one of these bags so I can strap my GPS to any of my bikes. I had planned to get a RAM mount or similar on each one - but I couldn't find anything to fit the Desmosedici so needed another option. Looks like this might fit the bill for all the bikes and save me a few bob.
At least he only put the cap on the wrong way up an not the lever on the wrong side...... Mind you....it's not fitted in the picture so anything is possible
Dave, was looking at one of those, but wasn't sure how well it would fit on a 916/996/998. Don't suppose you could upload a pic or two to show how it looks on your 996, and how you get on with it (does it foul anywhere, etc)? cheers, pete
Just got the following clear front indicators, double bubble screen, motor fix gel decals for the front fairing showa shock from a 749s as mine was leaking pair of belts last done at 9000 miles now on 1600 miles. rear pillion fairing as mine had cracked having lots of fun on eBay looking and buying.....well it is coming up,to,winter
At that point....no. While all those bits were off and easily accessible, I took the opportunity for a spot of super cleaning, Funkyrimpler style!
Fair play to you. I struggle to even think about cleaning the wheels. It's always an afterthought and so give them a quick wipe
That's alright I usually forget the wheels all together especially the front.....till people point it out when I'm out.
