What did you just buy for your bike?

  1. Oversize carbon air ducts and carbon radiator guards for the Streetfighter S

  2. Where did you get these from?

  3. Do these weights help reduce vibration? My right hand goes all pins and needles if I sit at a steady speed for too long. Like 40-60 mins on the motorway and I have to pull over to let the circulation sort itself out. :frown:

  4. Yes, they do help quell the really high frequency vibes. In fact it has highlighted the vibes coming through the rest of the chassis as the handlebars are now less buzzy. I haven't ridden it for an hour at a constant speed though so can't comment on whether your problem will be solved. At only £20 they also look much better than the cheap plastic caps, and offer more protection should the bike go down.

  5. This should sort my problem then, they sound like a good bet for £20. To be honest, the cheapy plastic stock ones are a bit of a detail to let down are they not? I would have thought that a twin would need heavy weights, not non-existant ones. Weird.

Anyway, I'm off to order them. Do these fit an 848 do you know? I don't know the size until I get home to measure them.

  6. I'd like to think it was Ducati in the 'pursuit of lightness' I think the 848 and 1x98 have the same diameter bar ends. One tip: I spray painted the bolts with Hammerite black paint before installation as the ones supplied are shiny stainless. But these really should have been standard fitment imho.

  7. £20 is a steal for an Oberon part!

  8. Yip, I thought it was weird that they'd shown a stainless bolt in the pic. Bit weird cutting that corner!

Will get them ordered up just now. Cheers.

  9. Thanks, ordered.

  16. ^^^^same here. And a 46mm socket.!

  17. 3x black plastic number plates nuts & bolts to put where the hideous monstrosity of a splash guard was attached.

    Hey big spender.

  18. Not bought yet, but I think I'm about to order some Stomp Grips. Had tried to go without, but I really miss them after having them on the GSXR, will just have to put up with the looks I guess!

  19. Hey Andy, if you're not keen on the looks of StompGrips, try the TechSpech Gripster tank pads. I have the C3 ones on my 999 and they suit it well. They're shaped to fit the tank and are available in three different textures...

    Techspec Gripster Tank Pads...

    cheers,
    Dom
