Just got a twin pipe set of termis for my hyper... What a shame they don't bother giving you instructions, lot of head scratching but got there in the end, sound wonderful she's like a new bike now!
I have five days solid on the D16RR coming-up next week - Somerset to Manchester through Wales, on up to Scotland for a couple of days and then back via Manchester again. I thought I might need one of these Airhawk Seat Pad Medium Neoprene Not sure what I can do for my wrists though ... other than keep the speed up
One of these........ View attachment 17756 .....for the 1098s. The Streetfighter is booked in for it's 600 mile service on Monday and currently has 560 miles on it. I want to get out tomorrow, so needs must. £43 to tax a bike for 6 months. Robbing B*!$&^$ds.
I'd like to say I bought Eva's first annual service. But I didn't. She did get her first annual service though courtesy of Ducati Manchester
When I bought the bike there was a major fuck up on paperwork/documentation/spare keys etc. It took about 3 months to resolve.
I wish my dealer was that incompetent. Unfortunatley, the purchase of my Streetfighter went without a hitch, so I'm paying £140 for a 1st service tomorrow.
New custom made, fully floating race disc's for my BST CF front wheel. Had to go custom as the wheel is from a 999.
I'd guess so. I have carbon Dymags on my SuperDuke and they maker an already quick turning bonkers bike absolutely berserk. I also have a pair for my 996SPS but haven't fitted them yet - it should benefit from them even more than the SuperDuke.
Just bought a pair of brand new 1980-style DellOrto PHF 36mm carburettors, so I now have six carbs, enough for three Pantahs. Eurocarb Ltd of Pangbourne near Reading are very good for this sort of stuff. At a price.
Haven't tried them yet but everyone says 'best improvement mod for bucks spent' so hopefully. Just waiting for my engine to get finished so I can try them.
Bit of a dull thing to report but did the 1st clean of the wheels of the Corse - left it a few rides for most of the chain lube to get flung off. Its one of the jobs I dislike the most, and as if to underline that fact I manage to slice my knuckle on the edge of the front disk. They seem to be sharp as kitchen knives!
