hmmmm thats only a 5 spring mine has 6 - I thought they were all the same for our era of bikes ?? must be diffo ones
New chain and sprockets- went up three teeth on the back to 40 teeth and the chain is still too long!?! oh and the front sprocket retaining plate's teeth are like a Kit Kat wrapper thin so I won't be riding that tommorrow!?!
Just bought a second hand tank for my D16. Going to get it enlarged to take more fuel so that I can do more than 60-70 miles between stops. That combined with decent tyres on proper size wheels should make the bike a lot more usable
yet another rear Racetec...my other one was only a few weeks old and got a great big fkn nail in it..grrrrr.. i dread to think what ive blown on bits and bobs for the bike this year...certainly well in excess of a grand..not including servicing of course!!
still givin it on my beloved 916SP...im putting a PPI claim in which, if successful means that she'll be joined by a 1098 Tric (touchwood). I understand they have these new fangled digi dash things and mummy-block calipers, handy for when your legs are tired i guess. Would it be sacriledge to have the mirrors repainted red? i dont like those generic japanesey looking things theyve stuck on the thing. Oh, and i think id have to change the cans..i dont really dig the shape..... Ducati-itis, planning on upgrading something i dont even own and havent got the money to buy yet...oh, that reminds me, must call the plumber and get my leaking boiler fixed....and that dodgy ridge tile, oh and the bedroom carpet need replacing....luckily its the end of summer so the broken lawn mower can wait until next year once ive replaced the temperamental dryer in the garage and got that bloody clutch replaced on the car. As soon as i repair the broken bottom drawer in the kitchen i'll be on it.
