  16. Well, I have just done the evil deed and ordered the Alpinestars all-singing and all-dancing Goretex SMX Plus 2012 hot poop boots. From Italy.
    The only downside of this is that the site and all the ordering information are in Italian. So I'll probably end up with some slippers instead.

    Global village, innit?

    I would be excited, but right now, this is not a good time for me to splash out on new boots. And all because a zip failed. Still, looking forward to Mr Postman's (more like Mr UPS) visit in a few days. Assuming the Italians don't all piss off on holiday before they send them out (not betting against it...).
