  12. Originally read the post on my iphone but have now managed to enlarge the photo and read the label. I'm a big Shoei fan, I like that a lot especially the tri-colore

  13. I have the Evotech rad guards on my Streetfighter, They are a worthwhile addition. :upyeah:

  14. Ive not had a shoei helmet since the days of the GRV. I always remember the cooling system on that being amazing. No other helmet has had that effectiveness. Ive always had simpson helmets (cooling not very good on them) but I like the exclusivity. (not bandits or starwars/stig type helmets) I like the indie car jobs...

Anyway - cooling - just as good as the old ones??

  15. I used mine last summer and even on the hottest days the airflow through the helmet was excellent.

  16. Sorry, just got home from work. Yup Shoei X-Spirit 2 Laseca, finally replacing my beloved X-Spirit Byrne replica, struggled with the current Shoei colour schemes but thought that this would give a cheeky nod to my Italian bike

Comfysofa, my first Shoei was a GRV as well (Lawson Honda replica), followed by X8's, X-ceed's & X-Spirit. Love Arai RX's but they just don't fit as well, although my car Arai GP5 is spot on

with regards to cooling, haven't tried the new one yet but I'd say that every model of Shoei has improved over it's predecessor, looking forward to trying out the new one in a bit of heat

  17. Good guess, close, Laseca according to the label. No idea what or who Laseca is. Also available with blue instead of green

  18. Got the 1098 booked in for new chain and sprockets. Just ordered a Melotti tail tidy and a complimentary smaller number plate. Tyres next. Oh and I also may get to ride it for the first time.
