A mate of mine had a Berkley three wheeler, that was pig ugly too. Two wheels at the front and one at the back, the original engine was a 350 Villiers engine but his had an 1100 austin in it. Seriously scary thing.
I cannot believe you are dissing the Austin Allergics and Austin Poncesses I served my apprenticeship on those. And Metro/Marina's lol - they were of their time and OK for what they were Lots of cars were the same then, it's how it was. We had not been spoiled by Jap cars that just behaved as they should and even German cars were rare. Lots were poor quality compared to now, but they sold in their hundreds of thousands back then - so obviously not all bad news
That looks like you could drive it from the front or back seats, like a train loco ..she certainly ain’t no oil painting is she... x
the austin land crab was a hideous invention.... way to british (shit)for my liking.. i m glad it provided much needed employment but it was and still is nasty as fuck... ya can poke the triumph herald as well....
The photo does not do it justice. In real life, it was heart-stoppingly ugly: I mean, I started sobbing every time I saw one on the road. Heart-stopping in the other direction:
i think i was corrected. it's a spider. which means its maybe just a 1300cc? i had abarth on friday. so i did.
Ugly ? The Ford Edsel.. The most Beautiful ? For me it’s the 1974 Ferrari 246 Dino... followed, or even proceeded by... Bellissimo x
