Having to spend £400 on a service for my watch.

 

Cost of ownership. Thinking it's about time my Aqua Terra Seamaster should have a service. Although I was determined to wear it only occasionally, aside from when I'm asleep, it's not left my wrist for nearly 3 years. Andy

 

Same here I never take it off.
It had some scratches on the bezel which have polished out nicely
I now have i little bag of replaced bits, O rings, strap screws and two new crowns.

 

It gets worse in retirement Tel.

Car drivers that try & sideswipe you in traffic when swapping lanes because they can't be bothered to turn their heads & look properly,had a very near miss yesterday afternoon.
