150kgs wet with 95hp and 75lb ft. Reckon that would give anything a run for its money on most trackdays
The way a Ducati puts you in contact with the road surface, no compromise riders bike, the beauty of a 999. OGR
1 Rutter at the North West 200 the sound was unbelievable compared to the jap bikes. 2 The Looks ( twin pipes ) 3 There Italian
My Mrs Italian married 25 years last year. Not all things Italian only Fiat oh also there Past Prime Minister
It would be fun no doubt but on a trackday you'd get frustrated as nearly everyone is on litre bikes and you'd have to pass late and close and that would be frowned upon tbh
Not so sure, as its got enough to get good drive and only be eaten up on the longer straights. The DD bike used to be very frustrating in all bar the fast group. Saying that it could get frustrating on 848 sometimes. Maybe you're right
A track day is a track day, not a race, in theory. It doesn't much matter if you are passed by faster bikes. The fun is exploiting a bike to its full potential. There aren't any prizes for coming first.
Well, that's the theory anyway. If I'm on track and there's someone in front of me, I want to pass them. Doubly so if I know them. Within much larger safety margins than racing admittedly.
You are only duty bound to pass a bike which is demonstrably slower and naffer than yours. You are also duty bound to try and pass all women, no matter how talented they are. (This is because you are a macho fool) But anyone else on a faster bike is allowed to be left alone, unless you really don't care about visiting the gravel trap/hospital.
