  10. If I have one album to listen to by a fire with bikes or camper vans it's this.

  11. I've got a lot of NY albums. Harvest is the wife's and only on vinyl. It may be his best, but the Greatest Hits is hard to beat, even if it doesn't really qualify.

I am a huge Ramada Inn fan.

  12. Lol, I agree... and After The Goldrush isn't far behind. Or Deja Vu from CSNY times. Music is important, subjective and makes life worth it.

  13. I saw NY during the mother of all storms a couple of years ago. As the lightning started to flash and the rain commence, he started up Like A Hurricane. I'm pretty sure he chose it deliberately, seeing as he didn't play it on every night of the tour. By the time it was over, I might just as well have jumped in a swimming pool, I was that wet.

  14. Thumbs up for NY. Deja Vu pretty complete as albums go.

  15. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars

  16. double or quits ?

  17. Nils Lofgren-Cry Tough
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers-First eponymous album
    Radiohead-The Bends
    Bad Company-Bad Company
    Free-Fire and Water
    The Sensational Alex Harvey Band-Framed
The Silencers-Dance to The Holy Man
    The Sensational Alex Harvey Band-Next
    Tom Waites-Swordfishtrombones
    Teenage Fanclub-Songs from Northern Britain
    The Smashing Pumpkins-Siamese Dream
    Baby Bird-Ugly Beautiful
    The Black Keys-El Camino
    The Cult-Love
Kings of Leon-Because of the Times
    The Pixies-Surfa Rosa

I'm sure there's more but that'll do for now.

  18. Well, that's chickening out somewhat.
I can produce a list of 20 top albums, but which is the best and most complete?
