^ I owned that album! White Noise - was virtually BBC Radiophonic workshop staff in disguise from memory? Ron Grainer and co? same people who generated Doctor Who noises and stuff. One track a bit raunchy from memory. talking of strange/obscure Long Players, I still have this only because I had a fixation with Hawkwind around that time
and composed by Ron Grainer.. Doctor Who theme music - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I gave my copy away and I don't regret it
Jools was good last night - included Alabama Shakes. Not sure about 'FFS' though.. looks like both bands must have writers block.
Currently listening to the brand new new release of Anesthetize, a live set by Porcupine Tree from 2008 - two CDs plus a DVD of the concert. Gotta confess ... a little bit of wee has been leaking out ... so damned good! A sample of what to expect is below:
Florence + the Machine new album. Didn't go much on the couple of singles from it but the album overall is good. Maybe not as good as Ceremonials though. Bit pissed the vinyl hasn't got the bonus tracks on iTunes.
Playing right now - Falling in reverse - Brother Christ what a song with meaning. The guy lost his brother and missed a call from him the day before and never called back. Made my misses cry when she listened to it.
Waiting for parcel delivery having a 90's morning. Jesus Jones, Doubt and Liquidizer, swiftly followed by Schubert Dip from EMF. All great albums. Saw JJ a couple of years back, they did a great set, keyboard player still very manic.
