Lovely warm sunny day so decided to throw open " paddio doors",fill cold box with ice n a dozen bottles of Nelson's and do some work on my chopper! (No jokes pls!).Got sick of gettin up to change CD as playing on single disc DVD. I've got an old reel to reel Sony spool player and a load of home recorded tracks on spools I bought for pennies at a car boot ages ago -i like the fact it's a total strangers random recordings? Then this came on! Q Lazarus - Goodbye Horses - the track buffalo bill danced to on Silence of the Lambs - pumped it right up to freak out stuffy neighbours

 

how time flies - next month will be the fifth anniversary of the death of the "Big Man" Clarence Clemons....

 

Sabotage by the Beastie Boys

 

Went to see these guys last night at the palace theatre Southend. Lovely old theatre but not the best place for a rock band. We were in row B and got blasted and smoked out from the joss sticks on stage but a good gig anyway.
I've got their 1st album from the 90's 'K' and this track's the lead single from the recent Lp, K-2.0, a kind of follow up 20years on.

 

Depeche Mode - some will comment that it's a bit gaylord but I like them so bollox

 

That's a bit gay!
