We've had bleeding Mickey Bubbles on most of the time this week thanks to SWMBO and spotify. I truly hate the tuneless twat!
Alice Cooper - Billion Dollar Babies. Christmas pressie along with Killer. Haven't listened to this in years but astonished that I can remember all of the lyrics. Just need ten quadratic equations as homework to finish for double Maths tomorrow morning and I'd be right back in the third form.....
Today I have been listening to 'AL'S MODIFIED ZORSTS'.................they are a duo and are bl**dy loud...... AL
Which bit off Kylie? Her legs always look great to me although most say her bum is her best bit Spock's Beard now, Flow. From their very decent The Kindness of Strangers album.
I've been listening to The Cure Live at the Bestival 2011 again. "And again and again and again and again and again and again!" It just is a brilliant album. It would be worth buying just for the four notes that follow Smith singing "I want to change it all" on A Night Like This.
Robert hated that gig .... he said they didn't play well. Maybe he wasnt feeling it I don't know. They have to play well known stuff to keep festival crowds happy. It must be tough and sometimes a little souless . I went to Reading to see them and they are wasted on festival audience. I ended up having a go at the people in front of me as they made me angry which isn't me at all. I keep hoping maybe they do a few gigs on their own but I'm not sure they will now. I think they may skip this year but I could be wrong . I prefered the Bestival set list to Summercure. It was quite sweet at Reading as I was near the front you could see tucked inside the stage family watching and I'm pretty sure Mary. She wears white a lot to his black clothes. she calls him just before he goes on and says "sing well Then we he comes off she rings him to ask how it went. Pretty sweet and to think they met in Drama class at school. I still enjoy watching the Orange concert and Trilogy. Liked them since my childhood ( spent a lot of time in Crawley). The only album I'm not so fond of was Wish ... But probably a band I listen to most days.. As there are highs and lows .. The only band I'd pay mega bucks to see.
My uncle used to see them in the Rocket in Crawley as he knew it was the one pub his wife would not enter !! So he used to hide in there They started off when they where Easy Cure. I used to spend time in Crawley as my Dad lived there ... So we all kind of like The Cure.
I got the musical youth album for Chrimbo 1983 ..... My parents were fackin blind .... They'd clearly not seen the cut off patch and stud strewn denim I was wearing and heard number of the beast being screamed through a dodgy stereo ...... Maybe if I'd started reading the bible , grew an Afro , and wore clown clothes I would of got the powerslave album ....... Made good frisbee tho
