agree, all four of them, I knew that pic looked familiar.

 

They make Morrisey sound like the Osmonds!

 

The whole band are on top form but Phil Manzanera and Eddie Jobson are on fire !
Seventies albums eh ? .... great artwork , gate-fold sleeves and the natural sound of vinyl

As teenagers , we would take our latest precious albums to school , and do swaps and loans .
Then at one assembly we were told that certain covers were deemed to be " not suitable for school "
Country Life was one example , and Diamond Dogs was another .

RCA got so much flack that all future pressings had the proverbial "Dog's Tackle " airbrushed out ,
and original copies in good nick are seriously collectable .

I remember some albums that were in the racks wrapped in brown paper ....
..... anybody recall which ones ?

 

I like some of their stuff but no all,but i will google them & find out more information about the bands history,and yes a great period for vinyl jackets from that period etc....one for you.

Non of his fellow Pistols are/were fans of his either, seen him live twice singularly un impressed.

 

I'll bet Lydon was singularly impressed with himself, though. He's made a career of doing that.

 

He was, he's not all he portrays himself to be IMO.
