this band got a few mentions recently on here, I saw them at Guildford Civic Hall around 1972 and they were excellent in such a small venue. from YouTube:- "There will never, ever again be anything like the Man Band. The classic four piece line up of Mickey (RIP), Roger (RIP), Martin and Terry had a musical performance relationship that can only be described as nothing less than telepathic. I can say this because I saw this particular line up (getting on for) 100 times in Britain and the continent over a period of about 2 years in the very early seventies and each performance of whichever tune they played while heavier than hell would always be different from the last time and would always end up perfectly, as it should, and yet they played like it was nothing! Breathtaking! Greatest band line-up I have ever seen or ever will. Long live Man." Surprised to find they are still going, obviously line-up has changed, and are on at the Half Moon in Putney on the 15th March. I'm half tempted.
maybe a little long, Carlos Santana/Arthur Brown/experimental in places, (@Expat Jack to avoid 4 sure)
Expat must have found the Sandinista album by The Clash tough going then, due to very eclectic mix of styles.
I know this isn't for everybody, but back in January Lady Nasher and myself were treated to this by our Eldest lad: https://feverup.com/m/100852?place_...etail&utm_campaign=100852_LON&utm_term=native Despite mostly being into Rock, Punk, Phychobilly, and what I like to call Classic Heavy Metal, I do like a bit of Classical, and it's something Lady Nasher and myself can enjoy together. I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would, despite having to travel into London by train, and the stage setting was amazing:
